Extreme Close up – this shows the specific characteristics that the character has, so the audience can remember and relate back to what characters they are within the film
Close up – this shows the characters emotions and increases tension and impact for the audience, it allows the audience to be on the same level as the character so they understand and empathise with the characters
Blurred – this shows the special effects, increasing the horror factor as the features are unknown as this adds suspense and tension
Low Angle – this shows the importance of the time within the picture
Birdseye angle – showing the specific movements of the character and establishing the location the character is in

Special effects: (silhouette) this makes it more eerie as the character is hidden, also the contrasts between dark and light highlights the darkness about to be told in the scene
